I have no connection between my Xbox 360 and the internet, no Xbox live etc. I only play in Offline Franchise. How do I download the Xbox patch on my PC and then get it on my console?

You don't xbox live is the only way.

pretty sure they post it somewhere on Microsoft's site or XBOX's that has a downbloadable version that you can put on a CD and then put on the 360.

That may just be updates to the system though.

I'm pretty desperate for it, well I will be when the 2nd patch comes out at least.

I mean it would be pretty ridiculous if there was no way to get the patch when it was rushed out with so much so obviously lacking. It's made worse by Xbox live not being free, so I couldn't just hook it up one time anyway.

No, you are confusing backwards compatibility updates with 360 game updates.

Xbox live is free, if you make a silver account. It will allow you to get the patch 4 free.

XBox Live Silver account is free and allows you to download patches and roster updates. So if you have a high speed internet connection, you're fine. If you don't have high speed internet, you should probably get it, I can't imagine using dial-up in this day and age, it's so freaking slow.

If you have a friend with high speed, take your machine and disc to his house and you can download the patch and rosters that way, with your newly created silver account.

Edit: Not sure about this, but instead of taking your whole console to his house, can you just take your your 360 hard drive there and attach it to his 360 and download it that way? would make it easier for sure.

That is right, the patches and downloads are on the hard drive directly. The only type of update that doesn't go on the hard drive is a firmware update on the 360 which I don't even know if they do. Most of their updates are software only.

Its not ridiculous that YOU can't get the patch, Nor is it EA's or Microsoft's fault that you don't have Xbox Live.
