Confused?

Okay, this is not to start a war of insults and disrespect. Now, I haven't played Madden online since the first patch came out. So I put NCAA in tonight and I got a message saying that an update was available for the game. So of course I downloaded the update, knowing that a 3rd patch had came out. So then I put Madden in, and I get the same message. Now I know that patch 2 hasn't come out yet. And I also know I downloaded the first patch already. So does anybody have a clue as to what just went on? This just happened about 20 minutes ago. Again, I know patch 2 has not come out. Thanks to those who will answer this post without sarcasm.

Did you or have you cleared the 360 cache!! thats the only thing i can think of!!!

Haven't done that. How do you do it?

it automatically clears cache...well i shouldnt say clear, more like overwrite. it only keeps cached info for about 4 games. if u rotate games alot, u end up losing updates on other games cuz it overwrites the oldest with the newest game to the rotation. when that happens, u gotta re-download the patches for the game when u put it back into rotation. u didnt get a new patch. u just downloaded the one u had before

edit: there is a manual way to clear ur cache and start without any updates. its a maintanence thing to do and can help with bugs u may encounter in games sometimes. when u manually clear it, u will have to re-download any patches for every game u put in til it gets full. after that it goes back to automatically overwriting the older data for the newest game in the rotations data
