EDIT: Not to mention theyve had five years to fix this one. Ian said that they were working on blocking this year as the goal for Madden 11. I thought that was the goal this year. Realistic pocket anyone?
The blocking is massively better though, and of course still has room for more improvement. And yes, realistic pocket this year.

Good thing opinions are subjective as is mine.

I'll have to take your word on that in your first sentence. We never owned LG machine, so I played Madden on PC for several years. Please, something that I was experienced in with LG(PS port over to PC) was trying to get stats correct. There were a group of us trying to align the stats as close to the NFL as possible. We would work on from August to November, so, that LG stat engine wasn't as good as you remember it was.

Yep, I'm getting realistic pockets on most of my drop backs and the running game is real good after patch #2.

And as I said earlier, there are issues with the game. Since I didn't own LG, I go from one year to the next and compare. Without a doubt, 10 is much better than 09.

For me (and everyone is different and most can have a conversation without it being a "war") it is FPSFB. Lots of fond memories. It had it's own issues but we had a blast with gameplanning/creating plays etc..
Still the most fun I've ever had with a FB game...

Guys, hate to sound like a super Noob, but why is it necessary to restart your franchise after patch 2? I have a current chise going and have not restarted since patch 2 hit- am I missing out on something if I don't restart?

You don't need to restart your chise after patch #2.

Yeah and if people would stop bitching and moaning like a f'n 2 year old, throwing personal insults at the devs, making sure that every positive point of view is squashed with negativity, and complaining for the sake of complaining, we could carry on a mature discussion with the dev team where an exchange of ideas could take place.

But we all know that will never happen, because well, we can't even have a positive thread here without people trumping it with their "issues".

Case in point..

Five more teams to go and I can get a great franchise running.
Traded the game in, but yet here you are..still trolling and doing your part to make sure that no positive point of view goes without a negative rebuttle.
