Just like the nhl series, you could play 11 on 11. Offense would consist of 5 oline, 1 QB, 1 HB, 2 TE/FB, and 2 WR.

Defense would consist of a standard 4-3 or 3-4 base.

everyone would have to work as a team. and have a league like the EASHL on NHL 10. Teams that worked the best together would be at the top. I think it would be fun.

I think that's the direction they were/are moving in, but the focus now is getting the gameplay right. I would love to see something like FIFA or NHL has though.

personally i think it would be awesome, when you get people who know football it would be great. the thing id you'll have to pick 2 players 1 for offense 1 for defense, qb would assume kicker on special teams plays and a rb would assume holder.

I play the EASHL/ OTP almost everyday, it would be amazingly fun if it was in Madden 11. Although, if it was OTP (online team play/ non league games) everyone would fight for QB 100% just like people fight for the top 3 forward spots in NHL which can get rather annoying...

It would be cool if the person with the best rating in whatever position would get first pick. That seems like the only way to do it imo.

They should let you pick your position before everyone is ready so when someone joins the lobby and see's that you have their prefered position, they can leave so we don't have to sit in the position selection screen for 2 freaking minutes just so the guy can leaves 5 seconds before the time expires... either that or play defence, more to sports than just offense.

But anyway, if Madden did this, it would bring the series to a completely new level of gameplay just like it did when NHL 09 introduced it.
