i think ea should bring back the old-gen controller configuration. its more comfortable and plus u can use the stiff arm button. pointing from left to right by using the right trigger2 and left trigger2. the old madden u could use the stiff arm button real good. but the new gen madden their is only one button u cant use it at all. and the juking system, use right trigger 1 and left trigger 1 juking from left to right. and use right stick as a hightlight stick just like the old madden. the same goes for the xbox 360. why did ea have to change the controls in the first place?

As an option, sure. Honestly, fully customizable controls would be the best thing.

i'm really not down for it. only because i just to the time to get the hang of it. plus if they did redo some things to how the right stick is used.(read about some change to right stick in ncaa thread it didn't get into detail bout but somethings have been added) the old format would be useless.

You have my vote.

The control configuration on last gen was awesome, and should have never been touched.

That was one area that was done correctly.

I would love to have the old control scheme back.

I would certainly prefer a classic configuration, especially for offense. Something like this (XBOX 360):

A - Hold for speed burst
B - Spin
X - Dive
Y - Cover ball
LB/RB - Stiff arm left/right
LT/RT - Juke left/right

RS (Highlight stick)
Up - Truck/elude
Left/Right - Quick cut
Down - Quick stop

*Replace the hurdle button, and have hurdling be automatic (based on the jumping rating).
