how do you guys KICK with this cam?

seriously.. it's sideways.. how do you judge it the kick meter direction? -.-

anyone? or do you just kick it and hope for the best

This is my camera of choice. I have been using it for years and I love it. For the passing game, it helps if you activate coaching mode to allow the cpu to pass for you, this does not mean you can not control the QB yourself. Try it and you will see how fun it is.

On 360, just hit L2 before you kick. It will switch the view to behind the kicker.

I tried it out today must say I like it better to run the ball.. the biggest problem is when I hit R2 I cant see the routes and which way Im going. also a small thing when the ref pulls up a penalty he always points to the left side and kicking is hard!

i am starting to get used it now after 3 games. the game just plays and feels different with this view, for the better. i agree receiver on the bottom gets cut off, but i try to get around that but either rolling out or just the timing of the pattern.
