The logic just needs to be fixed. It seems like bench players and special teams players are relegated to just those positions so they don't play on offensive/defensive downs. Tho never understood why kicker was always the next choice. At least halfback to corner or lb made a little more sense.

Try lowering the Stamina for all kickers and punts to like 10-20v range. They really don't need Stamina, all they do is kick the ball

im guessing this can be fixed with a roster update and hopefully it will just make depth charts better overall. They need to have right guards back up right guards, centers back up centers, etc. it's just the overall ratings of linebackers, offensive lineman, corners, and safeties mostly raise if you switch positions which in return has safeties backing up linebackers and corners, tackles backing up guards, etc, have their ratings drop when you take them out of the primary position.

doesn't really matter, your kicker will do the job just as well in madden, and it will make no difference with simmed stats. My advice would be to trade away all your high priced Oline players for skill players and then sign a bunch of scrubs for dirt cheap to play on the line. Might not be realistic, but its not like franchise mode is anyways.

the reason this is happening is because there's probably your two best backup OL as the backup to all 5 positions, and 3 guys nowhere. The game will only use the players in the depth chart, and then reverts to bizaare position changes.

yah, EA needs about 5 more slots on every deptch chart. in the meantime, just make sure you're using ALL of your backups. also check your fatigue and auto-sub settings. if I guys fatigue is stuck below (and this happens) the sub-out rating, he won't play the rest of the game.

Happened in my franchise. The kicker held his own but the other 4 linemen combined for about 15 penalties. Don't think it was a coincidence.
