How do I know if I got the "patch".....

I understand that there have been some patches since the game came out. I go the game in december. I got the roster updates when I went to play online....does that also give me the patch? Is there somewhere else I need to go?

BTW....I had Santa Claus in december and come january he disappeared on my game...which I take as a good sign.

But, I'm confuse that every time I quit and go back to play the same game (I'm messing with sliders btw)...the weather is always the same. I thought it'd be more random but it seems that if it's raining in NY when I go to play, that no matter how many times I quit and go back to play that game it's still raining.

Any ideas?

The patches should immediately prompt for download when you put the game in. There's no way you could play on XBOX Live or PSN online and not have the most up to date patch as far as I'm aware, so you should be good to go.

If you're playing with 'Live Weather', then you'll get the actual weather patterns for the area you're playing in.

I had an appointment last week at the doctors and they took some blood work and when the results came in my doctor called me and told me I had "the patch". Basically if your gaming system is connected online then you would have downloaded the patch. If not then you are still playing it as if you just opened the game.
