Do they show up on the free agent list, at any time during the season?
To sign to any other team or replace an injury?
Or do they just disappear?

I've read in the other Q&A thread, they could be found on the FA list.
But I want to make sure.


Also, do FA's disappear when advancing to the next year, in the offseason?
Or do they stay, until they retire?
Like in the baseball games.

Finally, can you re-sign players on a roster to any length contract?
You sign somebody to the 1 year deal.
Then I could extend his contract, if he plays well.

Because of the issues with numbers being called instead of names, I'd like to know if the generated rookies names are said in the game or is it the number? Anybody go a year into the franchise yet?

Question about the offseason, in the last couple years if you wanted to rebuild your stadium you had to relocate your team. Can you build a new stadium in your hometown this year?

When using "Practice" in franchise mode, do formation substitutions done in that mode, carry over to real games?

I am asking because I am hoping "practice" can be a work around for making formation subs pre-game instead of in-game. Would also allow me to make mass subs by using formation subs and custom playbooks to create plays filled with back-ups for blowouts.

Cut players show up on FA list.

I'm pretty sure only the lowest of the low OVR are removed, if at all.

Yes, any player can be extended at any point, to any year amount.

8 years in, and it's a crap shoot. Some players have names, some have numbers.
