Gamestop Midnight Release Procedures

has 1 line for preorders and another line for people who didnt preorder madden

and they have pop hotdogs chips all that good stuff just for picking up the game at midnight

I use the Best Buy in Mt. Juliet, and expect a good size crowd. Similar to the Call of Duty crowds.

At my local GS they usually have everyone form a line at the door as they arrive. Then around 11:30 they will ask for everyone who hasn't paid for their pre-order in full to enter the store finish payment. After you pay you simply return to your spot in line. Then after everyone has paid they normally do a raffle or two (usually a copy of the game everyone is in line for lol), then at midnight they have people come into the store two or three at a time (depending on # of employees) and hand out copies.

The biggest line I've seen at a midnight release was for GTA4 (100 people plus or minus), smallest was Socom4 / Protal2 / Mortal Kombat (21 people).
