So is it "safe" to start a chise yet?

Or should I wait for some kind of a patch to be released first? I heard that there are some problems with franchise mode as far as strategy goes for AI teams (things like teams never running the ball in a game, or punters being picked in the top-5 in the draft, raining during every home game for certain teams, etc.).

Did EA comment on any patch coming?

If u wana play mostly every game in Rain then go ahead and start a Franchise. Mine is on hold ATM, But im so itching to get it going again

Its up to you, but its very Frustrating playing week after week in constant Rain.

I popped in Madden 11 and booted up a Franchise earlier on, but its just not the same as 12.

Re: So is it "safe" to start a chise yet?

I'm waiting for a patch myself. Hoping to see the ability to change accelerated clock settings, tuned sim stats, UDFA issue, and less rainy games to name a few. Although really I'd be happy with just accelerated clock so I can play my 15 min qtrs

The punter top 5 issue is only prevalent in NCAA imported classes (generated are fine), plus somebody on here posted a tedious yet useful workaround for that.

Obviously you havent played that deep into a franchise...no one is paranoid...there are annoying issues and a few big threads on how to correct issues...

That's what am saying there's plenty of work around for franchise from the hard one as controling 32 teams to as easy as having the cap of and keep your under the original cap
