If I hated madden, I would not bother getting it regardless of how much I love football.

I really can't stand this argument. It's the only choice someone has for an NFL Video Football game. There is no other real choice for one.

This will be my first Madden in about 4 yrs . i actually broke down and bought this yesterday as i just wanted a new game to play. Will give it a test run this weekend to seeif my opinon changes

I wonder this when I read your posts sometimes. Road, you claim to hate Madden 06-09, and say Madden 11 played a terrible game of football. Still, you seem to be one of the most optimistic madden supporters year in and out.

How do you question why people continually follow/purchase madden when they haven't liked it for years, then basically concede Madden has been terrible with the exception of 10 and 12, then continue to purchase the game day 1 annually yourself?


Now as for the OP, I kind of agree. I can't get into Madden 12 offline franchise at all. The game is dull/stale and immersion is zero. I haven't totally given up on it tho because online vs a small handful of friends, I think the game is balanced on the field and has some entertainment value.
