Seriously!? What needs patched? I know most people probably don't get as in depth with their franchises as I do. I sim each game individually and check all the box scores so I can get a feel for the rest of the action that's going on around the league. Every week at least half of the QB's in the league complete less than 50% of their passes. Brady just had a game where he completed 43%. Yet the Pats still won 40 -17. For serious chiser's this is almost a game-killer. What's worse is that this seems like something that should be fixable through tuner sets. Why add them to the game if the devs aren't gonna utilize them!

Plus, I play nearly every game in a downpour! This global warming thing must be pretty serious because apparently Pittsburgh's gonna be a rainforest within a year. Naturally, playing in the rain is an issue because it compromises the integrity of the stats I get in played games. I'v got more dropped balls and fumbles than any other team in the league partly because I suck but mostly because I'm always playing in a monsoon.

Plus plus I have to control all 32 teams, AGAIN, because the cpu AI will cut every veteran in favor of UDFAs that have OVR ratings in the 50s and 60s.

Plus plus plus I cant use the custom playbooks I spent days setting up because they get all scramble up when I go to play a game. Rather than one formation with 5 different sets I get 5 different formations, which when added up means I have about 15 to 20 "formations" to sift through when trying to call a play.

I can probably go on, but those are the biggies. In past years I just sucked it up and dealt with it, but I see a lot of potential with this game and am extremely frustrated that these issues haven't even been acknowledged let alone resolved. Kinda makes you miss Ian, doesn't it? At least we knew he cared. As far as I can tell, this new guy has had ZERO contact with the community. At least let us know a patch is in the works and give us an approximate date. Doesn't seem like too much to ask.

The only problems I have are the rain glitch and not being able to edit players because they will lose they're roles glitch. If not for these, I would be doing a franchise right now.

As it is now, I'm not even playing the game. I'm too engrossed with NHL 12 and trophy hunting in Fallout. If we don't get a patch by November 1st, this game is going back to Gamestop for Uncharted 3.

Nope, not many developers visit OS at this time.

However, there was a podcast from Mike Young last Thursday, who has Ian's title and he said there should be a patch announcement soon.

Which maybe is why I'm a bit impatient. I wanted to have some good, quality time with Madden before I get sucked into Uncharted.

Well, that's good to know. I think maybe the late release date is throwing me off a bit this year and I just feel like a patch should already have been announced by Week 3 of the season. At this rate, the season will be half over and I'll be on year 4 of my chise before the game plays the way it should.

Yea, pretty much. I'm playing my franchise in slow motion waiting for them to patch the little things that I care about like the player role - edit glitch and UDFA's (if they actually touch that).
