Re: UDFA Madness

I once got three surprisingly good players as UDFAs, all of which became starters during the season at more or less their original position (67 OVR FB with B potential, 80 Speed and Impact Block, another a 62 OVR B potential LT who became a 69 OVR RG when I switched positions and he had to start when my second lineman went down for the year, last was my punter, only 60 OVR and C potential but 98 kick power)

See? Look thru it all, the best QB is 86 overall. It's impossible, so therefore you are lying.

Have fun with it, so long as he doesn't have those damn robocop pads. I can't stand to see those on the field. I get physically angry.

Most of the guys I've seen make decent sense. The great thing is that we can edit ratings this year, so it's less of a big deal to me.
This is the kind of creative thinking we need to be able to do within the base game. Have a training program where we ask a player to drop some weight and work him in other aspects for the possibility of using him in a different role/give him a different job to fight for and make the team.

Re: UDFA Madness

Its all a dice roll with ratings. Some get lucky and get skills matched up with their position. Sometimes DT get wide receiver type ratings. Would work out well if we could edit player builds.
