RB ball handling problem

So I drafted a new RB, and when he runs he has it in the palm of his hand. I'm sure you guys know exactly what I'm talking about since many people ask why some of their defensive players do this with the ball.

It just looks really odd while he runs with the ball like that, he didn't fumble the first game even after 30 rushes, but it just annoys me, and since he is a pretty good player (81ovr A pot) I wanted to use him as my starting RB for a few years.

So will I just have to deal with this? Will this lead to an increase in fumbles from him? Or will I have to hit R1 every time someone comes near him?

I've had random players do the qb scramble run but its not everytime they run or catch a pass.

I've had it too on my beast rookie RB, weird carrying style, but I don't think the animation affects the fumbling probability, that's only defined by the Carrying rating

i've seen this with some players but never a RB. Maybe try the traits...covers against medium hitters...etc...maybe?

I've had a RB who would always carry the ball like that. If you look at the traits for the player it is probably "Covers the Ball: Never". That's what was doing it for my RB.

Is there a way to fix this for OP; or if I ever get a guy who does it?

this sounds right. i havnt had a player in my newer franchise hold the ball like that but i might set someones traits and see if they do that

Ah, we can edit traits?

This would be a quick and easy fix if that corrects it.
