I'm pretty turned off by the intense focus on goals and creating "characters." I don't want to play WoW. I'm past that, I've spent enough time playing it. I want to take the Denver Broncos and play franchise mode as I did in Madden 12 if I so desire.

So long as there's an NCAA-like switch to turn off getting fired, I'll be fine.

I'm wondering this as well.

All they've mention thus far is controlling select players and not entire teams.

How is this mode suppose to replace franchise mode if we're only able to do that?

Any mention of Trey Wingo and how he will be in the game? They had him in a booth with a green screen back in april. Can't watch the webcast, on vacation and have a lousy internent connection.

Shopmaster just tweeted that if you choose to play as a coach, it's basically like franchise mode, you control the team and the team's decisions

From what I understand, being a coach in 13 is the same as being the owner/GM in the past. You could be fired, but you could come back as another character and take the same job.
