I don't like very much of anything I hear about CC

I get the feeling 32 player control will never be an option anymore due to the attention their giving to SUPERSTAR mode. Which u don't understand honestly cuz that is such a boring mode in itself to give any attention to. As it is now the CC mode kinda forces you to play the game a certain way. I hate that. And just don't get it.

Can't someone just us a team specific Playbook with their glitch plays and add them as audibles to achieve the same effort to exploit the AI even without custom Playbooks? I don't get how Custome Playbooks are the issue here at all.

People grasp the concept man....They just don't like it.....How many more offline features are going to have to take a back seat because they're worried about the Online area....

Its clear whats happened....and that is offline players are now 2nd Class Citizens in the world of Madden

but on a serious note, whether a guy creates a custom playbook or not. every playbook has money plays in them, so in all honesty a person could pick any playbook and run the same 5 plays all game.

still havent convinced me how custom playbook needs to be taken out because of this. i guess you do but alot of folks dont even play randoms online, they play against their friends, offline by themselves, or with like minded gamers whove theyve met online. im just gona take a guess but my guess would be that sim gamers wouldnt even bother themselves with the hassle of playing random games cept under special circumstance.

so all these groups of ppl have to get left out because of ppl playing random online games. yup still not convinced.

4tr, i never said the game was gonna flop or that it wouldnt get high marks, im just calling BS for leaving all these already in the game features out.

like i said b4, CC maybe great for online gamers, but offline gamers are getting are nothing but restrictions and infringements upon their offline experience.

another thing i find interesting is that ive asked how many times now for some sort of proof that custom playbooks somehow interfers with Cc and all ive gotten in response is goose eggs.

ppl would shut up if we could just see the reasons why this stuf couldnt be implimented, more than just we couldnt get it to work 100%, because im calling bluff on that and obviously im not the only 1 who feels this way.

Regardless I didn't run into any issues with the Custom playbook in offline but because it was an issue online some guys didn't care that it got scrapped..
I didn't have any problems with my custom playbook either. I play offline franchise only and didn't need to download any type of fix for my plays and formations to stack correctly. Gameplan also worked well and was an excellent feature if you spent the time to implement it correctly.

Very disappointed that they would take a staple feature like custom playbooks away. I understand rebuilding the game so future additions can be made as one. However, when you build the game back up, I believe you need to do so with the basics of football itself first and foremost.

Part of the immersion in playing franchise mode is to be able to build your own schemes. So much emphasis was supposedly placed on the RPG factor and replay value. Removing custom playbooks is in direct conflict of this.

Agreed, and it seems as if the online gamers only care about themselves also, because the offline gamers are only asking for options to be able to turn it on offline and be able to turn it off online.

I'd say that is a very solid reason. If things are broken, we all know they don't hear the end of it.

I've been calling bluff on penalties, challenge system and in game saves for years. I keep on saying maybe next year, but none of my things have even been explained. At least these issues have been explained.

And I'm an offline game, not an online gamer. I feel for you and hopefully, next year, these features will work.

Again, that's a fantastic reason to not include it in online mode.
There's no such thing as exploiting the game in offline mode, because if people want to they can just make their team all 99 OVRs - if that's fun for them who cares?
Nobody that I know of asked for features to only be added to offline mode if they worked in online mode. Online has a lot of online-only limitations which should not be applied to offline mode. Unfortunately that appears to be the way of the future because offline is now going to be standard by which all else will be measured.
