Someone else may have said this, but this hits it on the head for me.

For me to make it through a season of Franchise mode, it was amazing. I'd get bored with whatever team I had and I'd start over because I wanted to go somewhere else. At least now, I can play a season of Superstar, decide I want to coach a team.. then after that, I may want to go back to Superstar and so on.. all without having to start completely over.

Re: If you was given the choice to Vote

You know losing all these features this year hurt bad.....

But not as bad as learning where Looman and his CC team value these things.....and what that means for them ever returning completely at all, let alone quickly for Madden 14....

IMO....I get the feeling these features are buried under a healthy stack of Online Ideas and New Looman 100% Proof Restriction Tape at the Tiburon Offices

I said it in the other thread, If Looman came out and said

"I guarantee these things you all love will be back for Madden 14 just the way you remember them or better"

Then I wouldn't have much problem taking the hit this year for the greater good....I think others maybe would too....

But its setting up to be another

"We didn't have time for it this year"
"Well we'd like to do that in the future but"
"Look at what else we did"

barrage year after year.....Thats what I really think has us so pissed off
That moving beyond 13 these things are always going to have some reason to not be added back into the game

People just spent the better part of 7 years lobbying to get these things in the game.....they don't want to have to do it again

Arcade? You use it for progression? I like that a lot better than Madden giving a young QB who had a breakout season +5 awr and only like +2 THA.

You didn't have to start over you could switch teams mid-franchise last year

A decent progression model based on stats and small progression bumps for players in the first few years if they don't see the field.

Wow........this just keeps getting better and better.
Generally speaking, programming something once and making sure it works in one context takes less time than programming something three times and making sure it works in three separate contexts.

True, but only at the end of the season during the Owner Mode step. CCM appears to allow switching characters at any given moment in time.

This is exactly what exists in Madden 13. All progression appears is based on production relative to goals for the player in question, with initial goals based on draft status and roster status. The new feature is the additional step of controlling exactly how the player progresses by spending the earned XP.

You the end user get to decide what the progression model is.
