After watching the Madden 2000 intro, it came to me that 80% of the players in those highlights would have been fined, suspended, banned from the league today.

Not only has Madden changed, but the NFL also.

I enjoyed the Nintendo 64 version of Madden 98, as the 3D player models were amazing for the time.

I think the Playstation game that year was still using animated sprites instead of polygonal 3D models, so it was pretty weak in comparison to the N64 game, especially with GameDay also being available on the Playstation.

'99 was even better the following year since it included franchise mode for the first time.

I'm pretty positive I hit a button as fast as I could when that started.
I prefer real sounds of the game intros or real players getting pumped up over any "music".
Just my preference.
