How to change coach schemes in CCM?

one other issue is that the online franchise saves automatically after every action. If you are like me and the type micro manage and require every action to go a certain way (or reset a draft when you realize your pick is a bust) you are stuck without a reload option.

yea me 3...i desperately would like to change the playbook i started with permanently. im already tired of changing it every game and im only in preseason wk4. i would hope they werent dumb enuf to make us have to retire coach and lose xp just to change the damn playbook...but u never know...sure is looking that way. this plus being able to switch off gameflow for good would do me a big favor

I am so angry at EA. Offline CCM is so bugged, it is just crazy. I have found a ridiculous amount of bugs.

At any rate the offline CCM schemes is bugged. When you change the schemes it'll change - and then change back after a reload, a new game, etc.

The Online CCM schemes have been patched and you can change them. It all works.

I found out why it does that. Say you are trying to sign/resign a player like a CB. When the game checks your prefered player type it only checks the top player setting if there is more than one. Like for DT's, CB's, TE's, WR's. So lets say you are trying to resign your CB2 on your depth chart and you have in the scheme CB2 set to Man to Man which is what your current CB2 actually is. Your CB1 is set to Balanced. You go to resign your CB2 and it says he is a poor fit. The reason is its going by the CB1 setting. So if you set your CB1 in scheme to Man to Man resign the player, you will see its Good. Once you get him resigned change it back to what you want it.

I know what you mean. You can't reload anything you are stuck with your choices. But that does also add to the realism of it all. Real GM/Coaches don't have the option of redoing their draft if they pick up someone that sucks they are stuck with them or have to cut him if they are horrible. If you make a trade you can't reverse it if it doesn't work out. So ya its a pain if you mess up but it is way more real that way. Makes you think through stuff before you do it for sure and adds some tension to trades and drafting.
