What Determines "Importance" Inside The Coaching Schemes Screen (CCM)

I am in in offline ccm right now on schemes screen and there is no way the stars can be edited.

How do you set them?

I'm pretty sure the "Importance" is the actual importance of the player type in relationship to the scheme. An Attacking 3-4 defense would have 5 stars for importance on their OLBs while a Cover 2 defense may only have 4 stars. This would fit because your OLBs in a Cover 2 aren't typically your "must have stud" position. I'm not too good with words, so I hope that made sense.
