did anyone check to see if it was just a visual bug? do player ovrs change back as well?

I've been using gameface in a player CCM and a coach CCM with no issues. Doesn't help you obviously just another data point.

Overalls do change, that's how I noticed it in the first play.

This explains how they missed it during testing. You know good and well the CCM guys didn't actually "play" a single game of Madden. They just simmed through everything...checking stats, progression, etc, etc. This, in my opinion, is extremely lazy. But oh well, it still isn't game breaking by any means...just another hassle we have to overcome.

Agreed. It's really cosmetic, but like you it's an easier way to sort through them.

While at the end of the day it's a minor issue, it's still a bug, and it's still imo an annoying one.

The ovrs are definitely changing as well. Hopefully this can get cleaned up very quickly. It's also very frustrating that you can't set up a new scheme (to switch to a 3-4, etc.)

Yes I am sure they did not play a single game of Madden this entire dev cylce.
