yes you can. last i heard they didn't have a number worked out but they thought it was going to be around 5.

There are two major drawbacks. One is the depth chart bug, which will make your depth chart crazy if you sim preseason.

The other is that it doesn't look like the backups get any plays in during preseason in simmed games. You'll find that only starters get into games.

What you can do I think to remedy these issues is to super sim games and check after quarters to see who is playing. Not sure if that throws off stats even more, though.

I don't think #6 is a bug.... its just the old legacy controls for using Right stick to have your Defense react for pass vs run are still in the game, and people are using R right off the bat for d-line moves.

to whom ever can answer:

I haven't played Madden in over 2 years (NBA2k guy) but I love football. I want to try madden this year but I've been hearing different things especially in regard to the franchise mode, which is the only mode I play. My question is, can you create a player, put him on a roster, and start your season with that created player on the roster?

I ask, because I've read somewhere that you can't start a CC with an edited roster. Thanks, and my bad if this has already been addressed but I couldn't find a clear cut answer.
