Actually that looked like free-formed writing by Jonathan. He actually took time out to formulate a response and not used a canned script. To be honest he went over and above than most customer service reps would do. Focus on the problem and not on the customer service.

Actually, it kills offline AND online. It's not an offline or online only issue. Imagine being in a 32 team league and having this crap happen to 4 or 5 guys. It's a game killer - yet we have Looman bragging about the number of CCM leagues created. Talk about being out of touch...

Is there an actual step-by-step process for why this happens? Or is it somewhat random? Not really my area, but just curious more than anything.

Is it like the NCAA transfer issue that didn't really have a step-by-step process either?

Random. No one has been able to determine why it happens. The cap space is still there, but it displays as being -1340 billion and won't allow those guys to re-sign players or participate in free agency.

Yeah I mean I know about the bug, and all that, but I just wanted to make sure that it was random. I tried to make it happen in a couple test CCMs and couldn't get it to trigger so that's why I asked to confirm.

It's got to be frustrating to track down both from an internal and external perspective.

Bottom line is that the Madden crew really need to track down this problem and the other problems in franchise mode and fix them before worrying about next year madden. Why keep adding to the problem and not fixing the current problems that are going on. People are pointing stuff out, but yet EA responds with patching in things having to do with MUT mostly. Franchise mode is much more important then Mut is any day or the week. Franchise mode is the heart of Madden. If things like cap is buggy and messed up. Then both off and online suffers. I feel EA need to get the priorities straight on what is more important. MUT or Franchise mode. I really hope there is a 5th patch to fix this stuff. But EA seems to remain quiet on this stuff and not talking to the fans on what they are planning to do.
