I dont care about any of the other features as those are not features to me but are part of the game and experience so they should be there regardless.

If the game doesnt feel or play like legit football, im not having fun, they should of kept that madden 06 engine, even though it was bare bones, it had foot planting and all sorts of things that would have madden better than it is now!

That was the one absloute postive thing Cummings brought to this game. I thought that injected some much needed "personality" into a somewhat lifeless game. They had most everybody dead on too. I would include the stadium sounds, fight songs and cadences too, as I think they are huge to the immersion factor of this game, but they rarely ever worked, and only 10 QB candences dont count in my book....
Lets hope these thing are all in and WORKING this year!

Funny how this topic popped up, and I just mentioned in a post where Madden on the PS2 and original XBOX had some many nice features that do not exist in todays Madden.

Defense, remember when we had double team plays and delayed blitzes or when you shifted the Dline their gap assignments actually changed?

The game sucks from a defensive perspective. Stuff that should work doesn't, stuffy that should not does(Quarters as a base defense).

Defense is what I miss most...
