Player progression not carrying over to next season???

You must have missed his point. He is not just talking about overall. He said he is putting his experience points into Tavon Austins catch rating (This is the user input Josh Looman is referring to), and that at the start of the next season his catch ratings disappear and revert back to the original catch rating of 77. This would contradict what Josh Looman is saying exactly. If you have a player start off with a 77 catch rating and by years end you pour enough XP into that category to increase it significantly. Then the next year to start the season he reverts back to the 77 then this is a huge problem!!!! I have not noticed this myself but I will do some testing and report back.

Has anybody other than the one guy who said he saw this tested it? I know I ran some CCM tests on progression and didn't see that happen at all. All of the attributes I upgraded stayed at where I upgraded them. This was true for both in the CCM menus as well as in the in-game depth chart.

This occurred in offline CCM, for the guy who asked.

I'm keeping a close eye on everything now, so I'll continue to report.

It's possible that the issue with Tavon was an isolated glitch, perhaps his EXP and what I spent it on were not saved for some reason. Other players seem to have kept their progression into the second season, as far as I can tell. I'm tracking it closely now. Still, to have lost all of that progress even for one player is disheartening, and now I wonder if I did something to cause this glitch that will repeat, if it was in fact an isolated instance.

What's really frustrating is that it's not something you can just test by spending EXP and checking Depth Charts. You have to wait until the offseason or the beginning of the next season, which is when my issue occurred.

If it was because you forgot to save, wouldn't you have the EXP again?

Or are you saying both the ratings reverted and EXP reverted back?

It was not a save issue. The ratings reverted back, and the EXP was gone. So far, I have not experienced it again.

IT did it to my superstar. Not just the production dropping back down but where i used points to bring his throw power up dropped back down 2..

So this glitch doesn't happen if you're a coach? This question has been asked before but I haven't seen anyone definitely answer it yet....
