Re: Madden Cover is down to three

Unfortunately Rays past might be whats holding him back on making the cover it was a pretty dark time in his career and I don't think it would go over to the public at large as a fitting choice in this case, no doubt he's one of the premire linebackers of our era however as I've stated his past is still somewhat questionable for such a notable selection to represent the NFL on such a grand stage.

Its not him or his skills that are question here but the stigma of a sorted past that still has reprecussions felt today by those partys involved in that ill fated episode years ago, sorry but thats the truth at least IMHO.

Wow talk about cruel and unusual thats low and most unfair, why not play fair and settle it on the field.

For real though do you really want this curse thing to turn into somekinda "Bambino" curse thing?
I don't, sure its fun to joke with it but Brady's done nothing to deserve such an ill fate.

Common now just wish the kid some luck because if he does falter this curse thing is gonna start to feel just a bit too spooky. I mean how many times can it happen?

Have you been drinking any of that "*****-Aide" stuff lately?

Just kidding,I hope the kid does well and makes the cover.

Using this logic I would certainly like to see Brady on the cover ( p.s. I do not wish to see any athlete get hurt )

I would say Tom Brady just because what he is done but...if I had a choice it would be Ray Lewis.

I think it's gonna be Priest Holmes. He's broken records and it followst the whole: HB, QB, HB, QB pattern for the cover. (Eddie George, Dante Culpepper, Marshall Faulk, Michael Vick...)

It has to be Ray Lewis. He is one of the talented and hard hitting players in the league. I`m surprised he hasnt been on any cover yet.

I love that as soon as the curse gets mentioned, a Bengals fan post this. Lol. Im a Steelers fan so im all for Ray being on the cover. Lol.

Re: Madden Cover is down to three

i was at Gamestop yesterday and the preview box and poster had Brady on the cover. That may not be set in stone, just saying.
