It seems that the online roster is actually more outdated than the default offline one. The Skins roster was pretty up to date minus Mike Williams, Jarmon, Hackett, and a couple others when I first loaded the game.
Then when I downloaded the online roster, it had Jansen still on the Skins when he is on the Lions now. Dallas still had Ellis, and there a couple more that I noticed but can't remember now. But those 2 I know were on their new teams out of the box, but still on their old ones through the online update.
