He has been inactive every game this year. He is the last guy on the roster. Just create a guy who is a 50 overall.

I don't think Donny is trying at all. All year, Chester Taylor has been the Vikings running back default on Madden. Did he notice Percy Harvin's 101 yard TD? The depth charts are crap and I could do his job, at least the depth chart part. All you need to do is watch some game film and see who's returning, what subs are coming in, and stuff like that.

This whole thing is based on the focus shift to online, rather than singleplayer. It has happened in every single game genre, on every platform. The publishers generate after the sale revenue, from online gaming. And singleplayer modes, whether franchise mode in sports games, or any other SP mode in any other genre, now take a very noticeable backseat to online. And that leads to all sorts of issues. In this case, lack of accurate rosters, because of a focus on progressive online rosters. And that needs to be addressed.

The whole idea of progressive rosters is focused solely, towards online gaming. For a 30-something like myself, I have very little interest in joining the clown convention that is online gaming. Whats more, I think the idea of progressive rosters is fundamentally flawed. It undercuts the entire idea of progression in franchise.

Like I said earlier, it isn't much to ask for an opening day roster, that is 98-99% accurate, a month after the game is released. But this is nothing new, with respect to EA. This shouldn't come as a shock to anyone. However it remains mindboggling, that they still just cant even stumble into getting it right at this point, just one single time. I mean you would literally have to put effort into being this inept.
