I agree with a lot of the people u have on ur list. ESPECIALLY BRETT FAVRE!!!! waaaaaay overated. Has anyone seen how bad he has done this year so far?? he just seems to give up on every play. i dont know about his numbers, but he just seems like he's gonna fall over and fall asleep every time he throws the ball.

Guys the OVR comes from the other ratings put together. Don't focus on the OVR...focus on the individual attributes. And I don't like the hostile tone of this thread. Change it.

Agreed...but Sims-Walker is legit. Kid is very good and 85 is going to be viewed as low for him by year's end. Week one he got shutdown badly, but he was matched up against Champ Bailey. No excuse for 0 catches, but it should be mentioned.

Here's the thing about ratings guys...

It is IMPOSSIBLE to determine what a players ratings should be. Look at it this way. Javon Walker one year was rated in the 90's for the Packers. But that's only because he had Brett throwing him the ball. What happens when he goes to another team and doesn't have a hall of fame QB, poof, 70's rating with the Broncos and then Raiders. This is just an example.

Football is a team game. Bet you any money Fitzgeralds numbers go down this year, but is that because he's not as good? No, it's because Anderson is his QB....The team players are one affects what their overall rating is, so there is never a rating that is completely justified, because like I said it is impossible to get them right.

Too much of the players rating is dependent on his statisics, and that's a big flaw. There is so much dynamic that goes into how a player plays, and it will never be captured correctly in a video game. So really, there's no need to complain.

I am basically saying why jump the gun. Don't drop an update till week 4. Unless it's to add or remove players. I think the Niners players are rated fairly with the exception of a few. The new roster update that comes out today moves niners players back up again. Now Crabtree is a 81 lol, guess he needs to do something! At least Donny gave some respect to Josh Morgan. Also Donny thanks for bumping Isaac Sopoaga and Brooks up....

I am not bitter we lost to the Saints at all. Turnovers kill ya, if we didn't have those turnovers could have been a blow out. But that is that.

Donnie since I see you read this thread, please fix Antonio Garay on the Chargers picture! Its STILL some random dude thats clearly not Garay. Also, you have the DE's wrong, Castillo is LE and Cesaire is RE, Madden gets it wrong every year

I think the weekly updates are cool, You are playing that week like your team played the week before... The OVR rating is taken a bit too seriously by some people, as awareness effects the overall greatly, and if im playing with a guy, AWR doesn't really matter to me, esp with a QB and RB, unless you are simming...
