Custom Roster in online play?

Was wondering if I can use a custom roster in an online player match vs a fried. If so, how do I set this up? Thanks!

I so wish we could, that would be awesome! But we can use them in an online league. So if you and a friend or a bunch of us on here want to join one we could use custom rosters.
