M15 2016/2017 Offseason Roster (Xbox 360)

Updated the first post. Ported the roster over to a few other versions of Madden. Transactions updated 7/23/17. Includes updates for M15 and M25 for 360 and PS3. The M15 360 roster is the only one with updated depth charts. You must auto reorder the depth charts in game before playing with any other roster. Only the M15 roster (both 360 and PS3) have functioning fantasy draft and retired players completely removed from CFM.

The M25 rosters are just a port of the M15 roster. I set all players consistency at 2, corrected the 10 or so green face players that i know of and added a black silhouette to most of the players that entered the league since M25's release. You would still need to correct roughly 200-400 player Id's to get fantasy draft to work.

There are 2778 players on the roster. All teams have 65-75 current players on their rosters.

Edit: The Falcons have 64 players. OL Trevor Robinson retired this week. He has been removed from the roster.

Nice buddy. So you're saying that only M25 which was the last version of Madden anyhow that allowed real-life draft players will function as normal but the M15 version will have the fictional players as the game provides for drafting? Thanks.

Draft classes should work as normal for M15 and M25. Fantasy draft does not work for M25.

This is an M15 roster with all of the player id's accounted for on M15. The player Id's of everyone who appeared on the default M15 roster but have since retired are assigned to players from the 2015, 2016 and 2017 draft classes which are already included in this roster. This allows for a working fantasy draft of all of the players on the roster for M15 only (Tom Brady, Ezekiel Elliot, JJ Watt, Myles Garrett, ie: All Players). It also makes it to where retired players who are not on this roster will not reappear in CFM. Everything works completely for both of the M15 rosters I uploaded.

The M25 rosters are ports of the M15 roster. This roster will work as is for M25 but fantasy draft is not likely to work correctly. Also, when you start a franchise, retired players who do not appear on the roster will appear in CFM. This is due to the unaccounted for player Id's for players that retired between M25 and M15. It does not affect draft classes in any way.

This is the exact same roster for both versions of M15 and M25 and includes the entire 2017 NFL Draft class and 65-75 current players on each team as of July 23 2017.

If someone was so inclined they could set the ages of everyone on the M25 roster to age 55 and load the roster in their console. Start a franchise and go into free agency and sort by age. Anyone who is not 55 years old is a default M25 roster player who will appear in CFM until their player id is assigned to a current player on the roster. The player id's can be assigned to players from the 2014 draft class since the Jadeveon Clowney draft class isn't in M25 and also to the 5th to 7th round picks of the 2017 draft class that I created that don't already have a player id assigned to them. You'd check a default M25 roster (the roster that opens when you start M25 with no save file) for the player id's of the players who aren't age 55.

It's a multiple hour process to do this versus doing the basic port that I did which takes about 15 minutes. It still is much faster to do this (4-5 hours?) than it would be to just create the 2017 draft class which took me around 30 hours based on an average of 7 minutes per player.

So to sum it all up.

M15 for PS3 and 360 work flawlessly. You just need to auto reorder the depth charts in game for the M15 PS3 roster.

M25 for PS3 and 360 do not have a working fantasy draft and players that retired during the 2014 offseason will show up in CFM with their original M25 ratings and ages. You also need to reorder the depth charts in game for both of those rosters before playing with them as well. Everything else should be fine for M25 and Play Now hopefully should work perfectly.

I got the Xbox version and it's very good thanks man. John Fox is still Denver's HC, Is there any way to update coaches?

I haven't tried to change coaches. I don't think it's an option using Xanathal's editor but you might be able to with the db editor. I know you were able to in M12 and possibly M25 but I haven't seen a M15 roster with updated coaches before. You probably can but you'd have to ask in Xanathal's Editor thread to get an answer.

I also didn't change the playbooks which you can do in Xan's editor but it only applies to Play Now mode for M15 so I didn't bother since I only play CFM with this roster.

I'll attempt to change the coaches around if someone points me in the right direction.

Okay thanks for the breakdown. When I get some time I'll go read through Xan's original thread and see if I can't come up with something to help out.

I should be able to first Fox and create V. Joseph when I start a new franchise. Been awhile since I've messed with CFM.

Would be nice to have ALL correct coaches for each team if possible. Head coaches would suffice. See what you can find out plus I will mess around with the db editor to see what I can find out about possibly changing coaches. Thanks.

It's going to be a little bit before I check into it. Currently rerating the roster to match the M18 preseason player overalls. Not doing all of the ratings just matching the overalls to M18. The player ratings will still equal the overall shown in game.

Also, not sure what to do with about the head coaches that don't exist in the game. Maybe try to match them to their closest look alike and change the playbook accordingly.
