Playmakers Version 1 are up!

Here is his new set, they are on maddenplanet.com

Playmakers updated sliders

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I've posted some sliders at sportsgamer.com but those were in the early process and the game play was still unbalanced.

First off I wanted to let everyone know that I reached these settings with Weapons Off. I'm not going to get into the debate as to how the game plays with and without the "Weapons". That is a personal opinion but with these sliders I have prefered playing without the "Weapons" and I'll leave it at that and let you decide which Option works best for you if you use these sliders.

I wanted to say I don't believe the INT setting hurts game play. For the 1st time ever when creating sliders I actually had to rely on the CPU vs CPU games to help me understand what was happening on the field. IMO the things that effect the turnovers the most once the human player picks up the conroller is the human player himself. I didn't see many turnovers at all when watching the CPU vs CPU games on the default setup.

That led me to the conclusion that the Human AWR settings is the main culprit in the turnovers but that is because we controll most of our defenders.

I had INT's at 100 but the only problem was the game would always have the CPU QB throw an early INT right off the bat but after that first pass it actually seemed to get better and the CPU QB would go 10-15 passes sometimes without an INT.

I was going to increase QBA to 70-75 but realized after a few games that even the average QB's seemed to never be off target going that direction. I lowered the INT Slider back down and left QBA between 50-55 and it felt just right. To me if you play with Human AWR at 0 it appears the INT Slider is more like your Pass Defense Awareness slider. Guy's just seem make plays on the ball better IMO if they are in position and it doesn't always lead to an INT but surprisingly more deflections."

ALL PRO (8-9 Minutes)

WEAPONS OPTIONAL (I turn them Off for my game play preference)

OFFFENSE
HUMAN/CPU
QBA-50/50 or 55......(I've stuck with 55 mostly)
PASS BLOCK-50/0
WR CATCH-50/50
RBA-50/50..............(I've seen both me and CPU have good games and bad games on the ground without touching this slider)
RUN BLOCK-0/0......(My feelings on this slider is that it is juiced up and I wouldn't increase it too high)

DEFENSE
HUMAN/CPU
AWR-0/100
KDWN-0/5
INT-5/0.........(I don't agree with a high frequency of INT's but I don''t believe a guy like C.Bailey should be punished by setting this to zero)
BRK BLK-25/25
TKL-25/25

SPECIAL TEAMS
FGL-15/15
FGA-5/5
PUNT POWER-15/15
PUNT ACC-50/50
KOL-15/15

PENALTY SLIDERS
OFFSIDES-100
FALSE START-90
HOLDING-75
FACEMASK-100.........(Anyone get the feeling that setting this at 100 only allows you to see the penalty more than anything)
OFF PI-100
DEF PI-75
KR/PR INT-100
CLIPPING-51............(At 50 you don't get any calls and if you go past 52 you seem to get too many calls)
INT GROUNDING-100
ROUGHING PASSER-100
ROUGHING KICKER-100

SUB OUT/SUB IN

Offense
QB-71/85
RB-85/91
WR-71/85
FB/TE-81/91
OL-65/80

Defense
DT-85/91
DE-85/91
LB-81/89
CB-71/85
S-71/85

Trying these out with 8 min quarters, everything else 100% like how he posted.

Jets vs. Bengals, lets see what happens....

He also said he may still tweak them a bit after further playing, but at least these are a base set.

Re: Playmakers Version 1 are up!

Some halftime stats and updates:

NYJ 0
CIN 14

Pennington: 120 yards, 9/16, 0 TD, 3 INT
Palmer (out for game in late 2nd): 79 yards, 5/8, 0 TD, 2 INT, 3 times sacked

Jones: 44 yards, 14 attempts, fumble
Johnson: 19 yards, 5 attempts
Perry: 15 yards, TD (5 yard run in), 2 attempts

# of plays: NYJ 31/CIN 15

I've been selecting my play as :25 shows up on the play clock, and I've been waiting to select my defensive play until the :10 timer begins.

Some crazy plays. The first INT I threw with Palmer was beyond my fault, but after the guy caught it and got tackled, he fumbled it and we recovered, leading to the first TD of the game.

The 2nd TD for me was a INT return by Jackson in the endzone, 103 yard return

How is he getting "90" on (Position) Sub In? It goes from 89 to 91 for me... every time.
