Here is the new update from Papi over at MaddenMania:
http://www.operationsports.com/mm/sh...d.php?t=188982
All the credit of this new found method to have sliders work for the cpu goes to [email protected] over at OS.
All I did was test his theory and put in my sliders. Good Job
While I was away I was able to read the forums and notice the talk about the second profile for the cpu from a member at OS.
After what some discovered about NCAA sliders being universal I was not going to doubt this new theory.
I got home early today and downloaded the patch and before all that I deleted all of my madden content and started brand new with the patch
I created my regular game profile and entered the settings and sliders for my profile and saved it
I then turned on the second controller and created a profile called Madden CPU
I entered the settings for that profile and saved it as well
I then went into a game and set the Madden CPU profile to the cpu side and started the game..Once I started the game I paused it and put the Madden CPU profile in the middle and started the game
I was surprised to see that the cpu played based on what I gave them for sliders eventhough the profile was put back in the middle
One point to make is that once you go to team select screen and put the Madden CPU controller to the cpu team and your controller to the team of your choice you will see both displays that show what type of skills would be used for this game and both should shot Custome.
Notice that the slider bar for both sides look exactly the same so you get to think that the cpu is being given the sliders you have for the human profile but this is not the case.
What you CANNOT DO is change the custom skill setting to another setting and then back to custom because that will put the sub sliders for each setting to default and you will lose what you edited for the sub sliders.
To make sure just go to the game and pause with both controllers and see that your sliders are still the same and so is the sliders for Madden CPU even after you put the controller in the middle after coint toss.
Remember that both profiles have to be saved and in order to load each one on the fly just go to my madden and load and it will automatically just load the profile you currently are not using which it will be Madden CPU or your own.
Once you power down the console and start it up again you will load your main profile and see that your sliders are still good. but you wont be able to load the Madden CPU profile since it does not show up. What you must do is start the second controller and sing in to your saved profile and it will then load the Madden CPU sliders.
Nocie that both set of sliders for human profiel and Madden CPU profile are still the same that you had before you turned the console off.
I am not sure how this works on the PS3 but I am sure is the same.
Ok here is my post patch custom sliders for both profiles
