But good sliders!
I do not have tackles at 0. I have human tackles at 24 and CPU at 53

if the CPU is breaking to many then lower the CPU break blocks

Re: Football4Natic's Custom Sliders (Slow Game Speed)

I just played 3 qtrs with the Niners against the Pats and I was down 20-3! I threw 3 picks, but I made bad mistakes plus I had a bad QB. I was able to gain around 3.5 yds with Frank Gore, but I also saw too many missed tackles by me, Patrick Willis should not be getting trucked by Sammy Morris multiple times. But other then that these are awesome so far, I was able to stop them on D at times and other drives Brady would pick me apart.

Re: Football4Natic's Custom Sliders (Slow Game Speed)

Well I just finished a game and I beat the Lions in the second year of my franchise 23-21 on a last second FG. I scored TD's on my first two possessions and led 17-0 at half. I thought that it was too easy but then the second half Stafford who was horrible in the first half caught fire and brought the Lions back. My running game was great all game, but passing was rather difficult, I found myself not having much time to throw but as the game went on I made adjustments and read blitzes and ended the game better.

DET/DAL
Total Off. 303/277
Stafford-22/38 for 215 yds 2 TD 1 int/ Romo- 12-26 141 yds 1 TD 1 int

Kevin Smith- 17 rushes for 88 1 TD yds/ Barber- 22 rushes for 122 yds 1 TD

This was the first time in a while I didn't score 30 plus points and almost lost, thanks for the sliders man. My next game is at Washington and I can see myself actually losing it

Re: Football4Natic's Custom Sliders (Slow Game Speed)

Glad you guys are liking them. I am currently working on the update and will post it soon

small changes only but enough to warrant an update

I have been working since a week before release date on the sliders. I got the game early..LOL

I am close to having sliders that will be good for my season when rosters come out for opening day

Just let me know what things you feel need tweaking but not crazy stuff...just tweaks

right now i feel great with these..

I am currently playing as the jets vs the ravesn as i am simulating the monday night game as i type...lol

I am hoping to have a hard time scoring if these sliders are what they should be

be back with an update

Re: Football4Natic's Custom Sliders (Slow Game Speed)

i never expected to register with this site, but after playing with these sliders i had to tell you what a great job you did...these are the first sliders that have really challenged me and i didn't score 40+ points...i am the titans and i played the steelers and i won 30-25

chris johnson had 222 rushing yards, but collins only through for 136
the steelers threw for 240 and ran for 140....it was really fun

thanks so much

Re: Football4Natic's Custom Sliders (Slow Game Speed)

Tried these sliders and I will first say they are great and must have taken alot of time to develop. If I can get passed what Im about to say next I will roll with these or quit playing Madden. I played one half and threw nothing but screens with an occasional run or straight up pass. I was up 7-3 at half. 2 out of 3 screens work every time. Not Football4Natics fault and not trying to start another topic on his page its just EA is one amazing company to allow a play to work constantly like that with a game thats older than 10 yrs. I will say even this problem is better with these sliders as occasionally they would react to it. Great job man. Any suggestions would be appreciated besides only using screen plays once in a while cuz the point is it drives me crazy to call a play on third down I am unsure about if I know I have one thats most likely going to be money.

TBH, I don't think there is a slider set in existence that can beat that kind of play calling. If you the player bring the cheese to the game by calling cheese plays, don't be surprised when cheese is the result. Slider sets that are developed to try and stop all the cheese really make the game a one dimensional bore-fest of slant routes, slot-seam routes and screens. Zero-based sliders are meant to play better when you call real plays and try to mix it up like IRL.

I may sound like I'm yelling at you when I say that, But I'm really yelling at myself. I have been prone in the past to bringing my own brand of cheesy game play to the table because I knew it would win games against even the most ridiculously hard sliders.

I'm teaching myself to do some things differently now. Like, not calling 20 audibles/hot routes before the same. In the NFL, it takes about 6 seconds from the time the offense sets up at the line to the ball being hiked. It's faster than that in hurry up. This is why I fancy using the 20-second clock run off, instead of 15 seconds. The other part of that is trying to take my time getting creative with the play calling. Just blindly calling "power o" and then audibling to a play that will beat the defense's alignment gets boring.
