Finally, someone that has slider's that makes for a nail-biter hard fought win, with me playing the way I want to play, no house rules. I have tried Play maker's, I have tried Steeler's, and I have tried a mix of my own, but I used your sliders as a base, made a few tweaks and boy did I have a bad *** game last night against the Raiders.

Alright, to set the scene, I am Cowboys 8-2 (the 2 losses came at first of the season playing on all madden, losing to giants 65-57, and panthers, 52-47, getting cheated by the CPU to lose) and I was facing the Raiders 0-10 on Thanksgiving Day game in my Franchise. 12 minute quarters, 15 second run off, my own custom special team sliders, Hardcore gameplay. Coming into this game, I just knew I would blow them out like I have every other team, last week beating 7-2 Redskins 55-12, and that was taking it easy. Anyways, throughout the whole game, I was running the ball like crazy on them, so I kept making some adjustments to my blocking and their reaction time until I found a happy medium where i was getting stuffed on 3rd and 4th and short situations like I should, but able to break big runs at times. I had over 200 yards of rushing between 3 backs, and I had 186 passing and 3 td's on 10 completions with Stephen McGee (Romo is out 2 more weeks with a dislocated hip). I put the focus on my rushing attack, I ran it over 45 times. Anyways, to start, I will begin in 2nd quarter with a minute left. Jamarcus Russel put together a drive and scored a td making it 14-17 with 36 seconds left. They line up and squib kick the ball to me, but john phillips snags it and runs to the 46 before being tackled with under 30 seconds left. First Play, they line up and for the first time, called an all out blitz, so i did a hot route out pattern to ogletree. I hike the ball, throw it to him, but it sails over his head...as it does, austin cuts back across the field, snags the ball and jets down the sideline for a 54 yard touchdown! What an awesome play! Going into halftime, I am up 21-17. So lets fast forward to the 4th quarter, as there was no scoring in the 3rd (which is a first for me, great defensive battles). By this point, Nick Folk had missed 2 long field goals, from 54 and from 51 (my special teams sliders are kick ***, before i could make from 60 yards, now I barely make it from 52-53, I have to aim it just right, so it makes it challenging and the kicks are not guaranteed). So I finally piece together somewhat of a drive, and kick a 50 yard field goal to go up 24-17. defense holding strong on both teams back and forth, and I finally am able to get another field goal, this one from 52 yards and it bounced off the left upright and back into the field goal (its weird, I had 4 attempts over 50 yards, their defense was STOUT on my side of the field, matter of fact, I never scored from the redzone not one time, every td was from 30-40 yards out atleast). 27-17, Raiders take the field. Jamarcus leads them down the field and they get a touchdown on a hellacious drive. 27-24, with 3:40ish left. So I get the ball and I decide I want to run the clock down. So I run it a few times, mediocre success. I finally call a strong i double tight formation and called hb blast with felix jones. I had it going to the left, the weakside of the field, but I motioned anderson over to the right, flipped the play and hiked the ball. Felix hits the corner, witten nails a huge blindside pancake block on the outside linebacker and I take off for 56 yards for a touchdown, to go up 34-24 with around 2 minutes and 20 seconds left, at this point I am feeling game over. I kick the ball off, and somehow, their kick return cuts and weaves back and forth across the field, looked like a human player was returning the kick, and he gets to my 42 yard line. The piece together some nice plays, finally hitting a touchdown from my 8 yard line on a fade in the corner of the endzone to schillens, 34-31. Raiders with 3 time outs, a minute and 11 seconds on the board, all I gotta do is get the ball, get a first down, game over. So they come out in onside kick formation, i quickly audible to match their call. They kick the ball off, it bounces off of martellus bennett's head, and raiders RECOVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT!?? no way this just happened...no way. On my side of the field, 3 time outs, almost in field goal range, a minute on the clock, they control their destiny. So after a few well put together plays, Jamarcus Russell leads them right down the field and to the 10 yard line. At this point, I am expecting them to score a touchdown and not leave me any time on the clock and beating me. on 1st down from the 10 yard line, I put on cover 3 press and stunt my lineman to the outside, all of their receivers jammed, russell runs around in the pocket before marcus spears leaks through and obliterates him in the back field, and it flashes across the screen, Marcus Spears is now the all time leading sack holder for a single season, with 22. They call time out, 26 seconds left. I am hyped up, they are pushed back to the 17 yard line, a few more stops, this game is over. Jamarcus drops back on the next play, I send d-ware back into coverage, my lineman are busting the offensive line up, I break through coming free and crush russell, but he gets the ball off right before I got to him. Its heading down the center of the field, Schillens breaks in at the goaline right infront of Ken Hamlin and Gerald Sensabaugh, oh god here comes the touchdown, and at the last second, D-Ware breaks underneath and dives infront of Schillens and snags the ball for an interception!! GAME OVER!!! What a hell of a finish, finally after the whole season, I get a close game and a game I never felt in control of, which is a first for me. I always feel like I have to let the computer win, but on this game, I tried everything I could to win, it was lights out defense for most of the game. Thanks for these sliders man, I am going to continue playing with them for now with my adjustments.

If you liked that, you will like this...I defeated the Giants 13-10 last night, making the game winning field goal with 2 seconds left in the game! These sliders are the bomb, I had my first defensive battle ever on madden, this has NEVER EVER happened. Barber 24 carries for 157 yards and felix 9 carries for 9 yards, choice, 8 carries for 12 yards, very realistic numbers. McGee had 159 yards passing no td's and 2 int's. Eli had 289 yards, 0 td's and 1 int. Brandon Jacobs went 28 carries for 74 yards, bradsaw had 2 carries for 0 yards (1 was a touchdown run, on the other he got stuffed deep in backfield). Very very very realistic game, along with my special team sliders. I missed 2 field goals earlier in the game, as well as the giants missing 2. The sliders for field goals are set up perfect, makes them not so automatic like before. Overall, these sliders have gave me a new found love for the game.

Hey Vai, just wanted to say great sliders. I've tried them all and these seem to play the best of any of them out there.

Crazy that we still need to 0 out sliders and go crazy with things like QB accuracy, blocking and tackling to make this game play right. Isn't that about everything that has to do with football?

Hopefully at some point, the game will play right out of the box. Anyway, just wanted to say great work on these. You pretty much saved this game for me.

this makes me feel very happy to know i saved a game for someone. i did to help people to make madden playable i thought i have a great gameplay so why not share it with others, and since then i have had positive results.
