I might turn Human Pass Rush down a TAD...got 6 sacks last game, 4 in another but my D line is beastly. As far as increasing QB acc I would not go above a 7-8. I hear you but at the same time the game are competitive at this setting. You dont want the passing game to be too easy. I have had a few games with almost 70% and a rating in the upper 100's with a on QB acc.
ok....well what about the db's and safeties...they just stand there like there dumb LOL...how do you get them more responsive?

Re: Acreyman's sliders (post patch - Franchise tested)

I am 6-2 now. I have 25 Sacks so I am averaging 3.1 sacks a game. Tony Romo has a pass Rating of 86 with 10 TD's and 7 INT's and 59% Completion.

I turned the human pass rush down 3 points to see if that helps. I did go back and look at the O line of the CPU that I got alot of sacks against it they sucked. I am not convinced the numbers are too high but I am trying to help the CPU QB just a tad. some of the INT's are caused by pressure so far.

Well even with them acting dumb the CPU pass completion % is not that high. It is in the realistic range for the most part. Its just Madden is not going to give us that perfect game we are looking for so maybe we have to sacrafice just a little. Man coverages my DB's are good but I do notice they are a little slow reacting in zone.

You can try to bump up the reaction time of the DB's just little bit and see it that helps you. I think they are ok, play a few games first before you change anything though just to be safe. I am playing a whole season to make sure the settings are good cause they are close to being exactly what I want.

(BTW I am leading the league in INT's even with the reaction time as low as it is)

Dude beleive me I was like, "Beginner? WTF?" when I first heard that but I tried it and I like it....eventually. Took a good 5 games to get used to it. I just dont like to cheese the CPU......cause you KNOW what plays will get you that first down. Also the CPU calls a good game. if you are up late in the game you will ground pound. If you are behind alot then you are passing alot. you can change the balance in the coach screen to either run more or pass more. U cant adjust in Defense and that was the hardest thing to get used too.

Re: Acreyman's sliders (post patch - Franchise tested)

ok...here is game #2 Eagles (ME) vs Bills..this was a very good game. the game score may seem lop sided but it's not..Asanti Samuel had a pick 6 which made it look like that. GOOD game though here are the stats

Eagles 42 Bills 26

Passing
Mcnabb 16-28 237 yds 2 td 57%
T.Edwards 29-46 336 yds 2 td 1 INT 63%

Rushing
Westbrook 18 108yds 2 td
mccoy 3 50 1 td

F.Jackson 12 58 yds
M.Lynch 2 12 yds

receiving
J.Reed 7 rec 93 yds 1 TD
F.Jackson 6 rec 47 yds
C.Mcintyre 2 rec 13 yds 1 td

D.Jackson 6 rec 100 yds
J.Maclin 5rec 84 yds 1 td
K.Curtis 1rec 20 yds 1 td (this td pass was the best play i have ever seen on this game) should have saved the replay...

overall another good game...i think i may have a set to work with in franchise mode.....i still can't seem to get sacks i get around him and the computer throws the ball away b4 i get there...but overall another good game....

Re: Acreyman's sliders (post patch - Franchise tested)

I just got my butt handed to me by the Redskins 24-13. They took an early 14-0 lead in the 1st and never looked back. It was 14-13 at the half and then 17-13 in the 4th. I just could not get anywhere near the red zone to even kick a field goal! Clinton Portis had 88 yards on 19 carries untill the last 2 minutes. I punted it deep and the skins got it at the 3. I figured one good defensive stand and I have won the field position battle...well thats when Portis broke 2 tackles and ran it in for a score....damn! 6-3 for the year now, tied for first in division with the skins.

Re: Acreyman's sliders (post patch - Franchise tested)

Hey Acreyman,

Are you seeing a lot of passes that SHOULD be COMPLETIONS? Or is the D just that much better with these sliders that they are forcing you to throw the ball away a few times a game? .. I was just wondering, because a few of the sliders I have tried out I have had my QB over and under-throw a receiver multiple times in a game, which just isn't realistic to me. Im gonna give this sliders a go shortly, and I will post the stats on here.

Re: Acreyman's sliders (post patch - Franchise tested)

I have seen some like that with these sliders, usually only when im getting pressured or iI am on the run though. If I have my feet set Romo is pretty spot on with his throws. I have thought about raising the QB acc up only 1 point...waiting till season is over to make the decision. I am at 61% completion for the year after getting off to a rough start.
