Well, this one went to overtime and Big Ben hit Ward with 1:27 remaining in OT for a 65yd TD. Very depressing since I was coaching the Colts. Gotta admit I was expecting more out of Manning. Guess his neck was bothering him. Probably why his one INT was in OT at PIT's 30 yd line.
A defensive battle more so than a shoot-out, so that was a little tedious and not too exciting.
The sacks seemed a little excessive. I would say of the 14 total sacks that 10 were coverage sacks and Manning would not throw it away meanwhile Ben would scramble and lose yardage. Only about four were due to actual blitzes or pressure.
The game was a little clean penalty-wise. Not much going on there.
All in all, though, it was probably better than what we'll see tomorrow night on NBC.
Talk about an upset special! Brees had an awful day. Sure, he threw for 341 yards, but 2 were picked AND he fumbled the ball twice (one returned for a TD).
A fun game to watch. Thanks to Brees' hiccups in the early part of the 3rd quarter the Saints really cranked up the voodoo and made some great plays. Unfortunately the Houston D was just too much for them. New Orleans played a great game between the 20's though.
HUM did have four sacks, two due to coverage and two from blitzes (which created fumbles).
There were 11 penalties for a total of 99 yards. I absolutely love that! Pretty realistic. I guess you could say the only reason HOU won was because of the NO turnovers and penalties. How many times have we heard NFL analysts say that when talking about upset games?

. . . well it is almost spot on for the NFL averages. Scary stuff, Lombardi. Scary stuff.
Was a really exciting and even game, which went to overtime because of a last minute touchdown pass by Eli Manning and was won with a last minute overtime fieldgoal by the Eagles.
I only lost this one because of my horrible kicking. Missed a long one in regulation and an easy one in OT :/
The final score makes it look like a blow-out. It really wasn't and things just fell the wrong way for ATL. I mean, I actually completed a Hail Mary in the last 4 seconds of the half to take the lead. The ball must of bounced around for a full 2 seconds (felt like forever) before Mike Williams snagged it for the TD.
Then with the score 23-19 (TB) in the last 4 minutes of the game I was just trying to control the ball with the run game, but Cadillac Williams broke one for a 27 yd TD. Then the first play of ATL's following drive Ryan gets picked by a lurking Barber who runs it 20 yds back for the pick 6.
It was all over then.
Stand out players were Julio Jones (which Colinsworth called Thomas Jones) who was almost impossible for my DBacks to tackle. They could only slow him down for a Linebacker to come in and finish. He caught 6 for 217.
Also, Mike Williams caught 9 for 197.
A great game (because I won), but really really unfortunate for ATL.
i knew something wasnt right i see a huge error it says sacks cpu qb sacked 7.5 average thats clearly not right what is or has caused this error i have no idea.
a few games dont show whos huma and whos cpu thats first.second ist the ones that do i have sacks are follows which is only 7 not 8 games btw,I cant count a game that doenst show who is human and who is cpu.

are the 7 cpu sacked
i knew sacks werent running THAT high while 3.5 is a little high is is livable with more or less.
Honestly id triple check all the stats now and in the 32 game test sacks werent as bad as the number showed. I also see a few games that look fishy to me personally but i have no sure way of knowning like 1 game in particular looks like it was play on pro or something.

I think that he was stating there was an average of 7.5 total sacks per game (HUM 2.8 & CPU 4.7), which averages to 3.75 per team. A tad high, but not as bad as it was.
The HUM sacks seem perfect, but not sure why CPU is still a little high. Could be due to HUM playing the "weaker" team most of the time?
