mkharsh33 Madden 12 Custom Sliders / Slow Speed

Not sure how you will ever read all the posts, but tried the sliders from last night with 13 min. Two things that stuck out for me, even on the speed of slow, with your settings, the players seemed to move really fast, I thought anyway. So in the 4th quarter I switched to very slow, and I didn't really see a difference.

The other thing that stood out, the QB accuracy didn't seem realistic. I was the Chargers, and Philip Rivers had some passes that I was like, WHAT? I had some screen passes that were awful with the setting being so low.

Other than that, played a decent game. But again, the player speed seemed fast. If I go to all pro level, and make it slow speed, that speed seems more realistic. So I don't know why the speed was the way it was with your sliders.

Thanks for sharing them though, and keep tweaking.

Oh, never saw where to change auto subs either.

Thanks for the sliders! If I want to make the Human pass rush stronger what should I adjust? My defenders are getting stoned at the line of scrimmage everytime...

My pass rush was so bad (having poor O-linemen stone All Pro D-linemen) that I moved the slider to 99 and started working my way down. I'm currently at 80 and will probably come down a bit more.

Love the sliders so far. Only played two games with them, but being able to notice the difference between Jake Locker and Michael Vick is nice. Locker I was having trouble with accuracy, which is expected for a QB in the low 70s, and then with Vick, who is in low 90s, I was a whole lot more accurate.

The only issue I'm having is getting burned deep, and then not being able to knock the ball down. Their guys are just out jumping me so easily. Part of it's playcalling on my part, but I'm working on it lol.

i use the madden pick playcalling - i choose any of the 3 plays in the window they provide UNLESS it's a pattern where all the receivers go deep...then i allow myself to either go up or down to get a new window of 3 plays.

Hey mk, can you try out speed threshhold at 25 for me? I'm using it now with your sliders and think its a great setting, but I need more opinions. Really, REALLY enjoying these. Kudos!

when i played a few games at 25 (my actual starting point) i found that the cpu would dink-and-dunk you all over the field on short passes and that you were powerless to stop them. the cpu qb passing %'s were unrealistically high... then, when you'd play press coverage, they'd beat you long every time, and then it turned into a game of multiple BIG plays. too much separation between player speed - some may really like that, but it had to be toned down a bit to find a happy medium. but that's me...
