Hey Blue,

I wanted to give you a Laurel, and Hearty Handshake on a job well done with your sliders.

I just started a Franchise on M12, with the hex-edited 13 rosters, and this has saved the game for me. I have been using your sliders for a year, but with the new rosters breathing some life into the 12 version, and the fact that a lot of folks think that 12 is actually a better game than 13, these are great.

My question is, however, why would the Franchise games play any differently than the Play Now Exhibition games? With the rosters, and the sliders the same, why would there be a difference?

For the record, I am 2-0 with my Dolphins with Tannehill at the helm, but the games have been both close ones. 10-7 against the Pats in the opener, and a 17-14 overtime squeaker against the Texans.

Obviously my defense is doing the job, but the realistic stats and the possessions make the game a lot of fun, and I am using the Gameflow option, playing it as though the plays are being sent down, and changing them when i see coverage matchups and defenses that can be exploited based on the formation calls.

Great job, and thanks for keeping this game alive for me for another year.

One more question for you Blue, and I am not sure you are even playing M12 anymore.

Have you done anything with regards to tweaks on the Penalties front?

One thing I have noticed is that through two games in the franchise, I have yet to see one single Pass Interference call on either the offense or the defense. Not one.

I am wondering if there is any validity to the argument that lowering the PI slider will actually increase the PI calls, based on the fact that some folks are under the impression that the sliders are "backwards" in their slider sensibilities...

I see a few holding calls a game, mostly on me, but that is it. No offsides, no false starts... nothing.

Any ideas?

Re: Blue Ninja's madden 12 all-madden "franchise mode" slider

Decided to dust off Madden 12 and transfer a M15 Roster from the community here (Johnson's?) and retry this game (as I barely played it when it first came out). Got so used to M25 that I'm having a hard time with the speed of the game, even on very slow. Any recommended tweaks to my profile settings (using B-Ninja's Sliders here), or switch to All-Pro/Rookie, maybe threshold?

Pretty fun games so far in my 2014-15 Raider Franchise (one regular, two down to the wire, and one blowout handed to me during the preseason) kept me up till 2am last night, I'm just wondering if M12 is Speedy Gonzalez at all times.

Cheers!

GREAT Sliders!!!

I just have not been able to enjoy Madden since 2012, and with the abysmal play in the past two iterations, I decided to purchased a PS3 and Madden 12

I played five games with your sliders and had to make some adjustments. I'm on version "1.2", not sure if that was the most current version though. With this slider set, in five games not one rusher had over 1.8 yards per carry. I found that defenders shed their blocks the moment I reached the line and the linebackers reacted instantly.

Here were my changes:
Rushing
brk tackles...5
runblocking...39
fumble...26

Rush defense
reaction...42
blk shed...0
tackling...34

I do NOT control anyone but the QB. Something I noticed is that the computer rarely uses special moves. The only thing any of my players have done is two stiff arms and I only know that because the commentators said so. In five games the computer only did a juke move one time on a punt return. Other than that it is just running and tackling, but that's fine for me.

Since I made those changes to the running game, it has been absolutely amazing. There is a huge difference between the average, good, and great players.

I am running with the Browns and Colt McCoy is astounding with 5-15 yard passes. However, his 67 deep accuracy makes deep throws almost impossible. You really have to game plan. The computer makes pretty good decisions too. Compared to Madden 18, this game is perfect.

I appreciate all the work you did so many years ago -- you've saved football for me!

Interesting, I also did the same thing. I definitely need to use sliders though because of the tough time the CPU has scoring against me. I will try these if you think they are pretty good and we can see what happens. Enjoy!!
