The Broncos also gave up eight sacks in that game, which would probably be a common theme in the first year of a Broncos franchise using those settings since their OL is rated very poorly. And that was a game that I led from start to finish, so in a game where I would have had the Broncos passing more the results would likely be even worse.

So, from what I can see so far, using a 100 base for PB/PR would look pretty good in an even matchup, but will produce unrealistic stats in a game featuring a weak OL.

As a side note, I tried the 100 base for run blocking/run defense, with run blocking reduced to 90 (I think) and the results on that end were quite good.

I've notice that samr thing. I toned down the pass rush and it is better. I think I have it at 95 right now. The running thing I have not tried, but I will give it a try. Right now where I have it is pretty good, which is a little different then what i have listed on here. I'll have to look up the numbers and see what they are, but I won't get tp it until late tonight.

Thanks every one for the feed back, I think we are getting a pretty good set of sliders going here. I know I am enjoying the games I am playing testing these sliders.

Re: Madden 12 coach mode sliders

Posting stats from my latest franchise game for evaluation of the RB carry splits with auto sub set at 89/93. I am the Bengals.

Note: Mendenhall only had 3 carries due to a shoulder injury from Rey Maualuga forcing the fumble that Keith Rivers took to the house.

60 minutes of possession is shown because I have a formula for converting it.

The Bengals beat the Steelers! Now that was quite an upset.

Steelers with 3rd-stringer Dennis Dixon at Qb and Mendenhall going out after 3 carries, one of which was 22 yards.

One of Cincy's losses to the AFC champions last year was by 6 points. This was a 10 point win with a defensive TD included.

The only claim to realism was the running back carries with auto sub at 89/93.

The sliders are still a work in progress with the passing game needing to be less effective on the human side and more effective on the CPU side. That wasn't the case in my test franchise with settings more like the original, so I'm scratching my head over what's going on with the Bengals.

8-1 does seem very unrealistic for them, BUT:

-81 Bengals went to the SB after 6 wins in 80
-88 Bengals went to the SB after 4 wins in 87
-09 Bengals won the AFC North (with Palmer at QB, granted)

-Cincy's schedule this year is the 27th or 28th easiest. Their first 4 opponents won a total of 19 games last year so it wouldn't be a huge shock for them to go 4-0 IRL. In my franchise, the 5th win was the Colts with Curtis Painter because Collins was hurt, the 6th was the Seahawks, and the 7th was the Titans (6 wins a year ago). And 8 was the Steelers minus Big Ben, Batch, Mendenhall and Woodley.

8-1 improbable? Definitely.

8-1 outrageously unrealistic and a condemnation of the sliders? Maybe not.
