Larry's M25 All Madden sim sliders

Ok so i made a change to the pass defense reaction time for both sides. I set both sides to 50. I've only played one game so far with it set like this, but wow what an amazing game i had! I think it was the most realistic smooth feeling game i've ever played! I'll have to play a few more games just to make sure it wasn't a fluke (i really hope it wasn't). I may have to make a couple other adjustments to some of the other sliders to offset the change, but it won't be much adjusting.

What i noticed was the pass coverage was tight, but the qb's on both sides were able to complete alot more passes and the comp wasn't trying to throw deep down the field, they were taking what the defense gave them which made for some long time consuming drives. Cutler completed 62% of his passes which is pretty spot on compared to real NFL games, but they did have 7 dropped passes so i will definitely have to make an adjustment to their WR catching and maybe take QB accuracy up a point to 6. I think i am definitely going to end up leaving PDRT at 50/50 though and make adjustments from there, i love how smooth the game felt!

So i think i've gone a little obsessive compulsive with the sliders this year, trying to get them perfect. I've known all along that this is never going to happen, but that didn't stop me from trying. lol

I finally started my real CCM using these sliders, but an updated version and i'm glad i did because they are playing as close to real NFL games as its going to get. I am done playing with sliders and coming up with new ones. These are what i'm going with.

I'll update the original post with the changes. So give em a shot and let me know what you think.

Here is my boxscore from my last game - Steelers vs Lions. It was a great game. I could not do anything at all on offense and the Lions completely dominated the clock and the game. One of the highlights of the game was Ike Taylor shutting down Megatron for the first 3 and half quarters of the game. Johnson had 3 catches for 28 yds, then in the fourth he got wide open for a 36 yd TD pass. B.Pettigrew absolutely killed me with 11 catches for 125 yds and a TD.

Hey Larry,

I tried out you Set 1 sliders from you other thread, I am terrible as D. I could not stop the CPU QB at all, basically they were near perfect, but like I said I am bad at playing D. So the only thing I changed was human pass coverage from 0 to 35 and had an awesome game that I had to win in OT with a FG.

man this is a tough set of sliders, but i like it. I got blown away by the Falcons. If it wasn't for a bad second quarter the game would be closer.
I just could not move the ball at all in the 2nd and kept giving it back to them and I gave up some big plays. Man I love how they made some nice deep catches in tight coverage that was awesome to see. The CPU broke a few nice tackles for long yards, and there were some vicious stiff arms that was cool. All in all I like this set, I just need to play better, but good job on these.

They can definitely be tough, especially if you are playing a good team with a good or elite qb. It's always cool to see somebody else's boxscore. I don't think i've ever had that high scoring of a game.

With these you will lose the games you should lose, but you can definitely pull off an upset if you play a clean game. You should see a big difference once you play a lesser team, Atlanta is pretty good. I played the Browns and put a pretty good beating on them, then i played the Patriots and got my butt handed to me. I really like how these are playing. I HATE being able to drive down the field every drive and score. That takes all the fun away for me. I hope you stick with them and get better on D.

Just had another fun game, I had my chances to tie or take the lead before it got out of hand and I just could not capitalize on them when it counted.
I was down 20-7 going in to the half, and I was to receive to start the second, I drive down inside there 10 next play I try a play-action roll out to the right, and there was nothing there so Cam decided to run it and he dives for the pylon and gets hit at the same time and fumbles it in to the end-zone and out of bounds for a touch back that could have been a game changer for me.

Just lost a heart breaker to the Dolphins 22-20, I was leading in the 4th the dolphins scored to make it 20-19 me, then on the kick off, Ginn fumbles it and the Dolphins recover it and score a FG with 1:10 to go and i'm out of time outs, I drive to there 48 and I turn it over on downs, uh not for the fumble I would have won this one LOL

Lol, that sucks similiar things have happened to me too. I was driving down the field with about 1:30 left in the game i could win with a TD, i was on about the 12 yd line and i had Heath Miller open in the endzone and one of the bengals LB's, i can't remember who it was made a leaping catch and picked the ball off. I was a little po'd, but it was my own fault i didn't put quite enough touch on the ball. Awesome game after i calmed down. Lol
