So with all of these new screens of the next gen Madden being released, I'm wondering if its safe to assume that Madden will have a new engine. Not just a new graphics engine, but a new gameplay engine. If its the old engine with a sweet new coat of paint, I think this might be only worth a rental.

I care about this question 1000 times more than the graphics questions. We KNOW the graphics will be amazing. Its all the other issues that I 'm anxious to hear info on.

Why would EA be throwing all their resources into it, and have big a developement team working on it, if they where just working on a graphical update?

It's next-gen Madden.
