Excellent point, this has been the real problem with the way EA rates the players. There are always way too many 90+ rated players (and unless we're talking about Jim Brown or Walter Payton, there should never be any 99's).

I agree 100 percent. Marc Bulger is rated a 90 when he should be an 82. Julian Peterson the Seahawks LB is rated a 96 and I think he only made the pro bowl once in his life, he should be an 86.

They never know how to decrease former star players. Curtis Martin is rated way too high.

Exactly right. You see the default free agent list and it's all old guys who aren't going to sign anywhere. But with an 88 rating, they get picked up right away.

With power of next-gen why can't we have more roster slots so more rookies are in game?

The Titans have 22 players rated in the 80's. That makes no sense.

Madden does have the correct max roster size of 53. Do you mean for preseason games?
