Re: Madden '07 for PC

Can I ask what type of mods are available for this game? I'm really tempted to buy it, but I wanna see if it will be like MVP where small things such as substitutions can be modded. Uniforms, and realistic gameplay is also a mod im looking for. I managed to my make my MVP 06 perfect to the way I like it, so I'm hoping Madden is like this too.

This is a perfect example why having one thread for all comments on the PC is just a bad idea. I understand the mods here close topics with a heavy hand, but there has to be a happy medium. Perhaps there should be a Madden 07, then sub forums for 360/PS2/PC/etc...

Great idea for all of the multi-platform games! Mods?

I want to know what methods the PC ver. allows internet play, but I don't want to comb through 29 pages to find out.

Mainly, is this ver. IP2IP friendly? I don't want to go into a lobby, only to direct connect with people I know and play that way....plus IP2IP should be free.

Hey daflyboys !!! I've got the PC version and I do believe that IP2IP is possible. I'm also equally sure that it is free to do so. I'm at work right now so I can't confirm that for you.

Re: Madden '07 for PC

Has anyone used the Madden Editor from football-freaks.com? I was trying to use it to slow down the gameplay for all players because i feel the game runs a little too fast for me, so i went to global edits and decrease speed by 1 for all players, but when i started a game all the players seem to be running like a turtle, can anyone tell what i'm doing wrong with the editor because decreasing speed by 1 shouldn't cause the players to run like a turtle, appreciate any assistance.

I don't know this editor, but I'm wondering if you accidentally made everyone's speed "1" instead of decreasing by 1?

Re: Madden '07 for PC

in the editor you should Global edit

Decrease (a= a - x)

For example in the input box if you put 10 this means everyone will be decreased by 10. So a 90 speed will be 80, a 67 will be 57......

Be careful of the filter boxes to the left. What I do is in the box I select one player of the free agents so he is highlighted. That means he will not be affected by the global edit. Also, to the right when you hit apply, only hit it once or else it will reduce it the number of times you click on it. Once you do the global edit, open up the attributes to see if the teams have speed lowered by 10. I would back up your roster before doing this and then just fool around with the editor to get use to it.
