EA Sports have sent us the following Madden NFL 08 screenshots. Most of you have already seen them, they feature the 1st round draft picks, but in a higher resolution.

Nice thanks, i know the pics are early, but does anyone know if they are still going to use the 3-D grass? It's in none of the pics but im sure that can be a easy fix. Plus some of the player in the pictures don't even have their treds like they do in the 07 version so im sure they'll bring back the grass.

Ouch...that screenshot(#19) of McNair getting sacked by Timmons(I think that's who it is) looks painful. McNair's gonna be missing some time after the leg/knee/ankle bends like that!

pics are great and all but i want some gameplay...madden finally has much needed competition from APF 2K8 and hopefully that makes it better for the fans

Boy, the Madden team really KNOWS football, huh? Brady Quinn, Joe Staley, and Joe Thomas are black in their screenshots. Do they do ANY research?

I dont know, some players till look a little too big... and why is Reggie Nelson guarding Brandon Stokley on the Colts. If this are 08 shots, why wouldnt Stokley already be on the Broncos. I mean i see the difference in some shots... but some shots i dont.

Because rosters are easy to change it's one of the last things they do.
