Blocked field goals PS2

When is the last time anyone has blocked a field goal in a PS2/Xbox version of madden? I dont think I have done it since madden 04. I just got done trying it in practice mode for madden 07 but I cant even get close. I think its freaking impossible, atleast on the All-Madden level. It just sucks when the CPU only needs a field goal to win and he is on the 30, because you know for a fact it is over because there is no way to block it, and there is no way he will miss. I almost wish they would add a jump the snap feature just for special teams only.

that's funny, considering it happens too much in NCAA 08 on the ps2.

I haven't seen it for a while on these versions. I had one on the 360 version this year. Yes, it would be nice if you could block them, but it doesn't happen in real life all that much either. At least on the PS2 version on default sliders on the all pro level they do miss longer FGs.

Actually, I would rather EA not get too into that or I could see it being ridiculous like their fumbles and INTs on the 360 version.

Im not saying that I would like for it to be easy but I would like for it to atleast be possible. It is overdone in ncaa for the PS2.
