looks boring 2 me

is it just me or does this game still seem boring.even though its muched improved .something seems bland about it . based on the videos i've seen,is it the lack of penalties on the defense being called.(like holding)which would imo create more drama.in those close games or is it just missing those key little WOW moments that made 2K games so cool. the game looks great but wheres the excitement.

I'd have to agree that the presentation still needs work. But it seems more alive to me than any Madden before. I'm loving the new camera angles like the close and low at the release of the huddle and then zooming out to the regular cam is cool and immersive. Now if that was expanded like on help ups after a tackle or if they got refs on the field having the camera zoom in on a penalty that would be cool. But I'm off in future-tense. I'm not displeased or bored, but it could use a lot more camera tricks, cutscenes like 2k, and some more things to add like refs on-field. It'll do for now......

That is a fantastic idea to zoom in on the penalties. You should let Ian know about this for next year.

Yes definitely needs some more IMMERSION-referees, more penalties, crowd noise and chants, Stadium custom music, timeouts (have qb come over to talk over with coach), sidelines more ALIVE ( on bench with towels, fans, spray, in cold-jackets, gloves, hats)

To be honest, the videos do seem boring to me and I have stopped watching them.

The gameplay has seemed vastly improved, but there is no "pizazz" to the game.

I think the improved gameplay will definately be good enough to keep me playing it but it's like there is something extra missing in the presentation department.

They need to implement a sideline reporter that pops up and makes comments throughout the game- ala Tony Siragusa.

They need a chain gang; not some stupid cartoonish display on a jumbotron.

They need more situational crowd noises (3rd downs, 1st down conversions, etc.).

They need to mo-cap more one-off situations; like when a guy gets a first down, he makes a 1st down signal or if a guy makes a huge hit, he hops around and celebrates with his teammates, etc.

They need more signature playing styles. ie., not every punt/kick returner holds the ball with two hands; not every WR catches the ball into their body; etc.

I hate the Jumbotron. Whoever decided on that was smokin the weed. I'd like to see replays on it with a zoom in to it or if there's a penalty have ED come up on it and zoom in to have him announce it. Especially since he's not on the field. But I'd rather have him on the field.
