A question for Ian.
I, like most have been waiting for patch number two patiently for weeks. I like many was glad to hear that the patch was now available for download. I downloaded the patch with no problems and was glad to see the many fixes added, but alas I am still having the dreaded franchise freeze. I assumed that the fix would not work with previous saves that were expierencing freezing, so I went ahead and started a new one. I simmed pre-season and was able to play the first week with no issues, but during my second game after the half time kick off my game froze. Numerous attempts to play this game have failed, and I still have freezes at different points of the few "test" seasons I have ran since.
My question to you is this: I have waited for a fix for this game since release, and after obtaining said fix my game is still broken. I am now unable to return my copy of Madden 09 as the deadline to return/exchange has passed. Is EA going to be either a. send exchange my copy for a working one or b. let me exchange my copy for another game, such as NHL 09 or c. refund my money?
I do not play online because I do not enjoy "Madden Ball", and play now games lose their luster after a few dozen games. The only aspect of this game I enjoy playing is franchise mode and I am unable. I hope EA is willing to help me and the many others in this situation come to amiable conclusion to this issue.
