I think Michael's asking for specific body builds , so he can design the defaults ones too look good. And having Peyton looking like Peyton.

So 'out of the box' these players look authentic. And he wants to know specifics.

I don't think user body edits has been ruled out. And the more power for customization is needed.

And there are already generic body types in the game. Though they are not perfect.

One thing I'd suggest--and maybe it's already been mentioned--is add things such as mouth pieces or leg braces or hand warmers or clear visors, etc.

Larry Johnson, for example, looks very distinct because he always wear a white mouthpiece (disconnected from the helmet). Plaxico Burress, on the other hand, utilizes a mouthpiece that's always connected to his chinstrap.

LT is too thin-looking in Madden 09.

I think the consensus here though, is that we just need a full body editor. I say do as much as you can to get players right for out-of-the-box, but having the editor too will set this thing straight.

On a sidenote, you have to hope that the Chargers uniforms have been completely redone, because they are noticeably off in Madden 09. Everything needs to be sharper, the Bolts, the way the Bolts are placed on the jersey and helmet. And the Chargers Blue alternate in 09 needs to be thrown out completely (see the 2nd picture above), and we need the one of the 1st picture above.

I'll pop the game in to check.

Indeed Ngata is skinny on 2009. Bannan looks more stout. I didn't like Ray Rice's nor Maurice Jones Drew's builds in Madden 2009. They looked too tall and their legs were too skinny. Also, LeRon McClain and Lorenzo Neal were way too skinny, especially Neal.

Please add Tattoos, Mouthpieces, and extended neck braces for linebackers. Please include the short sleeved underarmour for the QBs. For the love of god please fix the Redskins uniforms... include white/white, burgundy/burgundy and they don't wear the striped socks anymore they just wear the solid burgundy.

Please also take this photo as evidence that most RBs and WRs don't run like they are doing 'high knees' drills.
